Requirements/Qualifications

• ASP / Web Hosting experience with a focus on security and availability
• Experience with administering Linux servers of any flavor
• Troubleshooting experience with Network Infrastructure Hardware including Switches, Firewalls and Load Balancers
• Proven client engagement consulting and implementation track record
• Superior communication skills!

Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, planning and implementation of highly available hardware and software solutions to improve reliability and supportability of existing internal and hosted systems
• Work closely with our development team to determine platform requirements for in-development solutions
• Recommend, design, implement and deliver platforms which adhere to industry best-practices and ensure the secure delivery of hosted software solutions
• Perform regular maintenance on Internal and Hosted systems including patch management, backups and proactive issue identification / resolution
• Provide back-up support for Internal IT Systems and primary, on-call support for hosted, production systems
• Proactive identification and implementation of methods to improve and streamline existing systems

•Extensive technical knowledge of heterogeneous IT systems and operations within an outsourced IT environment
•Proven management experience including IT infrastructure planning and development, IT security, project planning
•In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
•Strong understanding of ITIL and COBIT
•Proven experience leading, managing and developing a staff team

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will provide network and telecom services including the installation, configuration, integration and support of Network and Telecom equipment.
