Dispatcher (Vancouver- Delta)

MTR Western, the premier luxury motorcoach company on the west coast is currently seeking a dispatcher for its Vancouver location. This position requires the ability to dispatch pick up service in real time. Applicants should be professional, personable, positive, well spoken (and written), and competent in Microsoft software applications. Strong organizational and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to follow direction in a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Direct and dispatch the assignment of equipment and drivers on per capita work
• On call responsibilities and some weekend work
• Create contingency plans
• Adjust work schedules as necessary to accommodate add on passengers
• Insure drivers meet defined standards of excellence
• Support the overall operation of charter and per capita work
Experience:
• Class 2 license with air brake endorsement preferred
• Must be forward thinking with the ability to anticipate changes and adjust plans accordingly
• Must be flexible and able to multi task
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Transportation experience a plus
