TERMINAL MANAGER
Horseshoe Bay, BC
You are a passionate, dynamic leader responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and administration of the terminal/region, while promoting positive stakeholder relations and contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives. You ensure a consistent high standard of safety and security through the implementation of Corporate Safety and Risk Assessment processes and initiatives; ensuring adherence to relevant safety practices, policies, and regulations; and providing ongoing training and familiarization to terminal staff. In addition, you ensure effective utilization of systems and resources in order to attain positive financial, budgetary, and operating results and have an ability to identify and analyze business opportunities that increase shareholder value.
You are leader driven to achieve outstanding results, while enforcing a culture of safety and quality service at all times. You promote teamwork amongst diverse groups of staff and maintain positive interactions, while providing coaching, mentoring, and motivation in support of individual performance objectives.
You have a post secondary diploma in Business Administration or a related field along with a minimum 3 years’ experience managing a passenger transportation terminal, preferably in the marine industry. You have demonstrated experience in implementing strategic initiatives within a diverse workforce and are experienced in creating and managing large operating and capital budgets.
