Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the Customer Support Engineer will provide first level support to both clients and partners to track and resolve issues related to the implementation, integration, deployment, and use of our software.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Track, document, and manage telephone and email customer support requests
• Manage client and partner expectations and address customer questions in a comprehensive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, and product management to deliver solutions for issues reported by clients and partners
• Troubleshoot issues with software running at remote client site environments
• Occasional travel to customer sites for support may be required
Qualifications Required for this Position:
• College Diploma or University Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years experience in software organizations delivering technical support to external clients
• Ability to identify customer needs, prioritize requests, and providing viable solutions
• Advanced diagnostic, troubleshooting, and technical analysis skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and environments
• Experience using JavaScript within a Microsoft web browser environment
• C# .Net Programming experience and Web server configuration and support is an asset
• Superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and clients on a professional level
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
• Positive attitude, personable, and thrives in a dynamic team environment
• Execute a team approach to sharing knowledge and brainstorming solutions
• Available to work hours in support of eastern time zone clients
