The Role
Eigen Development is currently seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our bright, hardworking and dynamic Technical Support Team. Our team is dedicated to keeping Eigen’s clients well informed, helping them learn our payment systems, and trouble-shooting technical challenges while providing a high level of customer service.
This position calls for a person who is patient, communicative and dependable. The person fulfilling this role should also have people skills, logical, thorough, and possess the ability to see a task through to its conclusion.
Some duties and responsibilities include:
· Answering Support phone calls and emails ranging from reconciliation issues to store downs.
· Troubleshooting diverse technical scenarios.
· Configuring and testing Point Of Sale terminals.
· Working with third party relations as needed to resolve issues.
· Actively logging Support calls in internal tracking system.
· Guaranteeing customer satisfaction through timely and friendly customer service
Skills and Requirements
· Must be a team player with a proactive, positive can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
· Must be a motivated self-starter that possesses a strong initiative for success and achievement
· Outstanding communication skills with a passion for customer service
· Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities
· Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task
· Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and under minimal supervision.
· Ability to solve problems and “think on feet”
· Professionalism is a must with the ability to foster and develop customer loyalty
· Technically-minded and proficient with computers
Credentials and Experience
· Post-secondary education in a technology-related degree/diploma or certificate is an asset
· Knowledge of the following (experience is an asset):
o Windows and Linux operating systems
o Web-based applications
o Networking
o Hardware and peripherals
o POS or transaction processing
· Previous experience in a customer service/support environment
· Helpdesk experience
· French is an asset
