The Opportunity
Contemporary Security Canada (CSC), an integrated team of local and international experts, will provide security screening services for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
To support the security screening services contract, CSC is seeking a Network Administrator to:
• Maintain Windows 2008 Server network
• Maintain the active directory for up to 200 users
• Be responsible for backup on DISK and TAPES
• Create/edit/delete user accounts on active directory

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Detailed, hands-on experience with enterprise systems and technical infrastructure support and administration
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and MS Office Applications
• knowledge of wireless network security
• Basic knowledge of firewalls [Juniper], routers and switches.
• Experienced with IT 24/7 high availability operations best practices
• Hands on Enterprise Network and/or Server operations experience required
• Self motivated and proactive; results oriented and committed to meeting deadlines
• Ability to manage numerous projects and/or tasks at the same time
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality output
• Ability to work within a team, flexibility in approach to work
• Comfort in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where roles change and expand to meet operational needs
• Able to work additional hours as required, some travel may be required
