Relief Night Manager / Night Auditor

The Vancouver Airport Marriott is currently recruiting for a full-time Relief Night Manager / Night Auditor to join our growing Front Office Team. The successful applicant will work two nights as a Night Auditor and two nights as the Night Manager.
The Vancouver Airport Marriott is a 237-room, full-service hotel located in the heart of downtown Richmond, only a short 5 km complimentary airport shuttle ride from the Vancouver International Airport. Our hotel's spacious, newly renovated guestrooms feature luxurious bedding, high-speed internet access, ergonomic desks, 37-inch flat-screen TVs and all the amenities to make our guests' stay pleasant and productive. Dining options include sumptuous cuisine in the American Grille and casual eclectic fare at Lotus Land Lounge for casual, eclectic fare. The Vancouver Airport Marriott boasts a 4,500-square-foot, barrier-free ballroom, and a professional events team to ensure that meetings and events are perfectly planned to the last detail.
We're looking for someone who:
has previous hotel experience, preferably in a supervisory or management position
is able to work the over-night shift
is motivated to provide genuine care and has a passion for service
looks for creative ways to make guests feel appreciated and special and finds opportunities to make a difference
displays a high level of initiative, and possess excellent guest relations skills
is organized and efficient; and enjoy a multi-tasked environment
has excellent written and verbal communication skills
works well under pressure and be detail oriented
possesses a positive and mature attitude, and the proven ability to work in a team environment
has a good knowledge of the Richmond and Vancouver area
has excellent knowledge of Excel and other computer programs
