Due to the outstanding success of our Taxibook hosted dispatch product, DDS is adding an new inside sales position. The Inside Sales, Taxibook role is an exciting opportunity to develop and grow TaxiBook, to clients across North America. This position reports to the VP, Sales & Marketing.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Inside Sales, Taxibook role will own the execution of growing DDS' successful SaaS (Software as a Service) Taxi dispatch service to small and mid sized taxi fleets (5-25 taxis) in his/her territory. He/she will work with marketing to develop and execute direct sales campaigns (email and post) and will aggressively work the phones to find and close business.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Developing (with marketing) a direct marketing campaign focused on small-mid sized fleets
• Cold-calling taxi companies and positioning the Taxibook offering
• Conducting web demonstrations of the Taxibook offering
• Meeting monthly sales quotas
• Provide product/customer feedback to the product development team
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience and a history of success in selling software or services over the phone (travel is not a requirement for this role). To be successful for this role you should be a classical sales "hunter" that loves to generate and close business, you enjoy cold calling customers. The role may be of particular interest to those currently in inside sales positions that want to develop their careers and participate in developing marketing initiatives.
Particular preference will be extended to candidates with proven background and experience including:
• Demonstrated success via cold calling with a minimum $600k annual quota
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience with a CRM system (e.g. Dynamics or SF.com)
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Strong planning, communication & presentation skills
• Experience with direct marketing campaigns (email, standard mail)
