ZAG is currently looking for an inventory analyst to report to the Director of Operations in our Vancouver office. The successful applicant will be instrumental in inventory, purchasing and manufacturing planning in our global supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels within the inventory management software and reconcile any discrepancies
• Interacting across various functional departments to effectively support the sales team by communicating stock / inventory levels, etc
• Manage production planning, including the supply of raw materials to processing facilities and organizing facility lead times and availability
• Develop and maintain inventory plans based on sales forecasts to optimize inventory cycles and keep product in stock
• Maintain inventory levels at multiple distribution centers
• Work with buyers and supply chain team members to develop purchase order schedule
• Acting to assist the Director of Operations to complete special projects as needed

Required Skills

• Details and process oriented with an independent work-style
• Very High degree of analytical skills
• Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio and other Microsoft office programs
• Knowledge and experience with MRP systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross functionally with sales and finance teams
• Experience in directly managing inventory levels with a value of at least $750,000

Education

• A degree in business administration, business management, operations management or a related field or equivalent work experience
