Job Summary:
This position will assist in the handling of all media related tasks such as web development, newsletter & print design as well as art related requests, such as SMU, ad design/modifications, product photography, tech support, etc.
This is a full time, in-office position.
Competencies/Requirements:
• Familiar with HTML & CSS
• Knowledge of PHP & JAVASCRIPT
• Familiar with wordpress
• Well versed in Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator, flash, dreamweaver)
• Smarty experience an asset but not required
• Highly organized and efficient
• Works well under tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
Web Design
• Help maintain and update multiple websites, blogs and online stores
• Redesign online stores for season collections
• Create HTML newsletters as needed
• Ensure all products are displayed correctly by collecting and entering required data, processing images, etc.
• Work with suppliers and buyers to ensure information is accurate
• Creatively develop standards for listing products that accurately provide customers with information required to purchase goods
• Batch edit/resize product images
• Execute an online sales plan for nominated categories and ranges
• Manage the online product range, to ensure all products are correctly attributed, categorized and available for sale
Miscellaneous
• Prepare marketing materials
• Manipulate existing ads for magazine placement
• Ensure consistency of brands and image across platforms and media
• Provide programming and creative support as needed
• Product photography
