Recruitment Specialist (Burnaby)

Select Medical Connections is Western Canada's leading nursing agency. Since 1999, we have been connecting nursing professionals to temporary and full time positions in Canada, the US and overseas. Due to the exponential growth in our temporary (travel nursing) services we are seeking sales oriented individuals to join our staffing team as Recruitment Specialists in our Burnaby office.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for recruitment, screening, placement and maintenance of ongoing relationships with nursing professionals on assignment. Ideal candidates must be resourceful, able to operate at a high energy level and juggle multiple deadlines. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact person for SMC's nursing staff by troubleshooting, counselling and problem solving when necessary.
As we recruit from across Canada, you must be able to build strong relationships entirely over the telephone. You will be educating candidates about our travel nursing program, the communities we serve, and the hospitals within. Therefore, superior verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to offer exceptional customer service are essential. Sales experience and a university degree/diploma is preferred.
