We are now looking for Program Assistant with an outgoing, friendly, professional and energetic personality who has a passion for the work they perform and for improving the lives of others. You will be assisting in the development and maintenance of a wide range of programs and activities for residents to promote fun and social interaction and to satisfy the body, mind and spirit, as well as communicating the schedule of events to residents and family members. You will also be involved in planning and executing special events.
The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented community and have a great sense of humour! A self-motivated and vibrant, personality is a must, as well organizational and multi-tasking skills. Experience working with seniors as well as knowledge of Word, Excel, and Publisher and how to operate on the internet is required. A Class 4 drivers license is beneficial.
