Are you seeking a part time job in the evenings only Monday to Friday 6pm-10pm? Manpower has an opportunity for a physically fit Mail Distribution Clerk for our client located just a 12 min walk from Science World skytrain. This is an ideal role for someone who wants Long -Term employment on a part time basis (4 hours a day) to either allow them to spend for more time with their families, supplement their day-time job with an evening job, or simply for a student looking for evening shifts to make some extra income.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To support the Distribution Services Area by receiving, sorting, distributing various mail items

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for receiving, distributing, and shipping of internal mail, statements, postal mail, reports or bulk shipments.
-Operates I-Tracker scanning equipment.
-Operates Pitney Bowes DM1000 Postage machine.
-Completes and maintains daily statistical logs as required.
-Heavy lifting of mail sacks (Approx. up to 50 Lbs.)

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong ability to be organized and deadline oriented
-Ability to physically lift heavy objects and stand on feet for the entire 4 hour shift
-The ability to hit targets and work efficiently without supervision.
-Safety conscious: must be aware of environment to ensure no injury to self or co-workers.
-Required to work extra hours during absence, vacation & heavy volume days.
-You must be able to pass a Criminal Background check and Credit Check prior to starting.

On the job training is provided for this position and an hourly wage of $11.36/hr is offered.
