Due to growth, this large national corporation requires a Payroll Administrative Clerk(Employee Benefits) asap.
Responsibilities include:
main responsibility will be setting up of new employees (very high volume of hourly staff [turnover]) on benefits program
-assign earning / benefits / deduction codes to new employees
-as 1 of 5 Clerks, import payroll input sheets into software system [payroll input sheets are prepared by outlying locations]
for high volume of employees
-prepare and submit gov’t remittances
—other related duties as assigned
Qualifications: ***4 yrs+ Employee Benefits admin. & Payroll experience for minimum 1000+ (possibly consider 500+?) employees. ***
Must also have 3 yrs+ in full-cycle Payroll, including to General Ledger/reconciliation stage. Solid work ethic and working history. Excellent communication skills and computer aptitude. Team player.
Hours of work are 8:30am to 5pm, 1/2 hour lunch.
