Senior Accounts Payable Specialist -- contract
Our client, a large Technological company located in Burnaby, is searching for a Senior Accounts Payable candidate for a 4 month contract.
Specifically your responsibilities will include:
• Processing a high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner
• Managing high volume cheque runs on a bi-weekly basis.
• Managing and maintaining records, reports and filling systems related to accounts payable
• Reconciling bank statements and vendor statements
• Verifying, monitoring and amending inaccuracies on invoices
The position offers:
• Competitive hourly rate $16- $18 depending on experience

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate will have the following:
• Minimum of four years work experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Previous working knowledge of Great Plains is essential.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
• Strong ability to multi- task and prioritize, works well independently and in a team environment
