JOB TITLE:
Territory Manager/Field Services Representative
LOCATION:
Vancouver, BC
COMPENSATION
$60k base + Commission
JOB DESCRIPTION
Working closely with the national sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for increasing sales revenue in fashion-forward footwear lines with independent retailers throughout British Columbia. Maximize existing business while opening new accounts, develop business plans and retail strategies. Attend industry tradeshows. Merchandising displays of key accounts and training their staff on new collections and selling techniques. Flexibility and planning required for overnight/weekly travel including occasional weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
• Business development through effective consultative rapport building
• Provide individual and group sales presentations
• Oversee full sales process ensuring 100% customer satisfaction
• Provide prompt, efficient handling of client inquiries and issues
• Monthly sales analysis and reporting
• Effective time management, proactive problem solver
• Excellent record keeping, maintain client database
• Confident, outgoing, results-driven, professional
• Self-starter, able to work independently with limited supervision
• University graduate preferably with previous retail sales and/or minimum 2 years outside sales background
• Experience from the footwear/fashion or related industry an asset
• Good knowledge of sales process, including prospecting, presentation, negotiating contracts, and closing sales
• Resilient, disciplined, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
