Responsibilities:
The sales territory is Vancouver. You are responsible for:
• Exceeding or meeting monthly sales quotas by maintaining and growing the customer base; Utilizing sales techniques to up-sell to current customers & cold call on prospective customers; Preparing proposals to bid on new jobs;
• Delivering presentations, negotiating prices, and other terms;
• Working with Operations to develop service & repair leads;
• Completing paperwork & reports;
• Developing & maintaining strong relationships with new & existing customers.
General Skills:
Ability to Meet Deadlines, Negotiation, Problem Solving Skills, Provide Customer Service, Time Management, Understand Complicated Verbal & Written Instructions, Use Conflict Resolution Techniques, Use Interpersonal Communication Techniques, Use Oral or Written Communication Techniques Sales - Cold-Calling, Outside, Service & Repair, Territory
Computer Skills - Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
Job Requirements:
• A high school diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent sales experience may be considered.
• At least two (2) years experience with intangible/complex sales is required.
• Must be self-motivated and have the demonstrated ability to stay organized & focused through a multi-step sales process.
• Excellent communication, organization and computer skills are required.
• Strong negotiation, mechanical comprehension and reasoning skills are necessary.
• Previous elevator industry experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits Details:
Base is $50,000 - $60,000, with excellent medical and dental (extended health), 3 weeks vacation, RRSP contribution, car provided, insurance, fuel and cell phone covered. Quickly expedite expenses when turned in.
