As a Field Sales Support Associate, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing renewals for Sophos solutions within Field based accounts. You are also responsible for supporting the Field Sales team through any activity to achieve the revenue targets. This role carries the combined quota of the Field team for the region. You will also help develop and lead proactive initiatives to improve the output of the sales team.
This role is located in Vancouver, BC.
Main duties
Drive incremental revenue through managing entire cycle on opportunities as necessary(ie.$10k+/-)
Assist Field team in quote and proposal development
Overall lead management including managing lead aging and proactively ensuring follow-up in a timely manner
Assist in cold calling where necessary
Provide front line coverage while reps are in territory, on holidays, or out of the office for Enterprise accounts and Channel partners
Work with current Channel Partners to identify and develop new business wins for Sophos
Provide support and assistance for RFP responses
Drive revenue through incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management
Provide coverage at tradeshows and customer facing events when necessary
Proactively develop and maintain detailed knowledge of Sophos products and services through online learning and subject matter experts
Adherence to CRM, business systems and activity management standards
Experience and skills
Excellent knowledge of the target market
Experience in developing mutually beneficial relationships
Understanding of the computer security market
Experience in B2B sales
Experience in prospecting and cold calling, developing new territories and closing deals on the phone
Strong negotiation skills
Exposure to working within a Channel Partner model
