GRAPHIC DESIGNER -- MATERNITY LEAVE
A Fulltime, Temporary position, the Graphic Designer will be part of the Marketing Department of the company. This role has experience in online marketing with strong understanding of website usability, project management and design/development. You play an integral role on a team that is responsible for implementing and managing the Company's online and print initiatives in support of Kryton's brand strategy and sales objectives. The goal of this position is to make possible the timely implementation of marketing collateral while increasing the company's Internet presence to drive leads and new business.
Your expertise will inform the development of an international online marketing strategy to build brand awareness, engage current and future customers and construction industry stakeholders in a conversation about concrete durability and construction sustainability.
The main key result areas for this position include:
•Graphic Design and Lay Out
•Project Management and Coordination
•Electronic Multi-Media
•KPI/Scorecard Keeper
•Brand Guardian
The knowledge, attitude, skills and habits required for this role, include:
Education
•Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design and/or Web development or Marketing or Communication Design, Multi-Media Design or equivalent
Work Experience
•At least 3 years professional experience as a Graphic Designer is a must
• With a strong design portfolio and interactive experience
•Familiarity with a manufacturing or industrial environment, an asset
Traits
•Independent Self-starter
•Artistic Sensibility and creativity are essential to think outside the box
Skills
•Strong Graphic Design skills to choose right colors, fonts and lines to create a balanced composition that conveys meaning
•Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
•Presentation skills to effectively present ideas verbally and visually
•Strong Customer service orientation
•Project Management Skills to properly coordinate with vendors and other stakeholders
•Demonstrate proficiency in SEO
•Technical skills to use design software programs such as:
1.Adobe Graphic Suite (CS5)
2.Photoshop
3.Illustrator
4.In-design
5.Acrobat professional
6.Dreamweaver
