Associate Advisor (Abbotsford)

We are in search of a self-motivated individual to assume the role of Associate Advisor within an established Financial Planning Team located in Abbotsford, BC.
This Associate Advisor will be someone who brings a comprehensive skill set and educational background necessary to be licensed in the financial services industry under the IIROC SRO. The successful candidate may not have extensive experience, but has the right qualities; or is one who has great experience but does not want to be in business for themselves or deal with a straight commission based position.
A successful candidate will thrive in a team environment, have impeccable integrity, self confidence, strive for personal growth and be goal and results oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinate client data for Comprehensive Financial Plans with our Wealth Planning Team
• Co-ordinate client data for Comprehensive Estate Plans with our Wealth Planning Team
• Co-ordinate client data, input and create Base Financial Plans for our clients
• Conduct insurance reviews, make recommendations and place insurance where required for our clients
• Conduct Investment reviews with our clients
• Conduct regular client contact and follow up
• Set client appointments and prep files for review
• Work closely with the rest of the team
Requirements:
• Successful Completion of Canadian Securities Course & CPH(able to be IIROC licensed)
• Successful Completion of LLQP
• CFP or working towards the CFP designation
• A good practical understanding of Insurance and Investing Concepts and Solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Must be bondable
• Previous experience an asset.
