Traders execute through a national brokerage specializing in equity trading on the NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX and other European markets. The firm's primary objective is to provide state of the art electronic trading. Our corporate culture is a relaxed dress, work-hard, play-hard attitude.
Orbixa's mission is to present our traders with the greatest opportunity for financial gains by providing them with the most technologically advanced and secure electronic trading system.
PROPRIETARY TRADER:
Proprietary Traders aggressively trade the firm's capital on markets such as the NASDAQ, NYSE and AMEX. A successful candidate will thrive in a highly energetic, pressure-filled, incredibly fast-paced environment. You bring a strong desire to succeed, an incredible drive, and a competitive nature. As a Prop Trader, you excel in an open communication atmosphere, enjoy working in a team, yet achieve results based on your individual skills. You have the keen ability to absorb market data information quickly and act upon it with lightening fast reactions.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are looking for an opportunity to get paid for performance. No related experience is necessary as the firm provides basic training and continuous mentoring for qualified applicants.
PAY:
Prop Traders are paid a profit sharing commission.
BACKGROUND:
Although industry experience and formal education are not necessary, the following are required:
Strong interest in markets
Demonstrated competitive background
Hand-eye co-ordination
Discipline
Aptitude for numbers
Confident decision-making ability
Energy, motivation enthusiasm, commitment
Ability to have fun under pressure
Enjoy challenges, puzzles, strategizing (video games are relevant)
