Providing numerous patented piping-related products that are in use today in dozens of markets, applications, and industries around the world, companies rely on them to provide world-class technology and solutions for their specific needs. Applications include those in Fire Protection, Data Centres, Industrial Manufacturing, Commercial Building, Water Systems and others.
Our client provides competitive base salary, uncapped commissions and an excellent value proposition to its’ clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Manage entire sales cycle; prospect, uncover potentials, qualify, complete a thorough needs analysis, close business and follow up/maintain relationship.
- Promote to sell company products, concepts and services to prospects, specifiers, buyers, distributors and users
- Research marketplace and competitive information for sales strategy planning and review
- Develop sales objectives, strategies and forecasts
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients, prospects and distributors
- Develop and implement promotions
- Continuously improve customers’ written specs for products
- Cooperate with inside sales, engineering and other support staff to ensure good teamwork to meet customer requirements
- Participate in workgroup meetings
- Report activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience
- P. Eng designation, an asset
- Ability to travel extensively throughout BC
- Superior negotiation, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- 5-9 years direct industrial sales experience
