Early Childhood Education Worker (West End)

We are currently seeking an experienced ECE worker to work with the Family Place Supervisor in creating a warm and inviting environment for the families participating in the Family Place drop-in. The ECE worker will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all families, organizing dinner, activities, crafts, and games for children, and creating a fun and open atmosphere for the families. ONE position is available for Saturdays 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-ECCE, CYC, or EDUC certification/studies an asset
-valid First Aid certification
-experience working with children of all ages
-second language an asset
-experience working with groups of children
-experience working with families of diverse needs and abilities
-leadership skills
-an ENTHUSIATIC, nurturing, confident personality
