Wastech Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Belkorp Environmental Inc., and a leader in BC's recycling and waste management industries, seeks an accomplished individual to head up their operations in Cache Creek.

For more than 30 years, Wastech has been offering cost effective solutions that minimize or eliminate environmental impacts in the communities where they operate. Wastech is proudly Canadian with it's headquarters located in Port Coquitlam.

The Role:

> The primary and key objectiveof the Manager of Operatioms is the smooth, efficient and harmonious operation of the Cache Creek Landfill site
> He/she will focus on the ongoing day-to-day management of the organizations' business model and internal processes to ensure maximum productivity and revenue generation
> The Manager of Operations is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the company's operational policies, objectives and initiatives
> As a member of the Landfill Advisory Committee and the Landfill Monitoring Committee the Manager is Wastech's representative in the community

Your Qualifications:

> A degree in Business, Finance or Engineering is preferred
> Outstanding leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes
> Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
> Successful budgetary management experience
> Highly developed negotiation, conflict resolution and people management abilities
> Several years experience in operations management in a unionized setting
> Exposure to an ISO environment is an asset
> Environmentally conscious
