Cross-Platform Development Specialist (Vancouver)

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Development Engineer with demonstrated expertise in application development for multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities for the position:
-Port existing technologies to new platforms
-Improve and extend test automation
-Profile and optimize software components of applications
-Test, debug, and extend other Software Engineer's code
-Design, implement, test, debug and maintain code to required coding standards.
The successful candidate will need to have demonstrated experience developing single applications for multiple platforms (i.e. Windows, Mac, Console, Mobile) and experience with successfully porting existing applications to new platforms. Experience with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, PS3, XBox, etc. are all considered strong assets.
Please note that the client does not have head-count for this position (yet), as such it will start as a 6 month temporary-full-time position with either a 6 month renewal or a conversion to FTE.
Specialization and Skills:
Software Development C# .NET 2 - 4 years
C++ 2 - 4 years
Additional Requirements: Software development experience with multiple languages: C++, C#, Visual Studio, Peforce, etc. (8 - 10 years)
Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Lua) and C#. (Proficient)
Experience developing cross platform code for example two or more of : PC, Mac, XBox360, PS3, iPhone, Android, Unix (Proficient)
Ability to test, debug, and extend other Software Engineer's code competently (Mandatory)
Nice-to-have: Expertise and experience in a core domain such as code-builds, concurrency, vectorization, file system, codecs, PC installs, and memory management (Capable)
Nice-to-have: NANT, DirectX or OpenGL experience (Capable)
