Junior Project Manager: Wireless Projects (Vancouver)

Our client has a long-term contract opportunities for a Project Manager with demonstrated experience with wireless network capital projects. The initial contract will be 6 months with an option for multiple 6 month extensions.
- Manage small network capital projects (mobility) within scope, on time and on budget
- Collaborate with planning, engineering, procurement, build, and operations primes to prioritize and schedule project deliverables
- Collaborate with build implementation teams to identify and balance internal resource allocation
- Regular reporting and communication on project status, budget, and quality
- Manage and monitor external build contractor performance
- Site Inspection as required to ensure scope, quality and schedule of work adhere to client standards
- Effectively manage change requests on projects
- Manage program financials in accordance with corporate financial policies and tools (SAP)
This role will involve site inspections and onsite meetings. KMs will be reimbursed at $0.46/km but the contractor will be required to provide their own vehicle. Position is based in Burnaby near Hwy 1.
Specialization and Skills:
Project Management Project Manager < 2 years
Additional Requirements: Experience with Wireless Telecommunications projects (Mandatory)
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (Mandatory)
Nice-to-have: experience using SAP (or similar ERP) (Capable)
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic police record check (Mandatory)
