Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
• Maintaining and working with HR Manager to develop policies and procedures
• Managing payroll
• Updating all human resource manuals and procedures
• Management, coordination and communication of all benefit plans and services
• Education and communication of pension plan and benefits
• Vacation administration
• Coordination, and tracking of all education and training courses
• Coordinating and maintenance of the job performance system
• Maintenance of human resource employee database
• Coordinating all employee training requirements for all positions
• Developing a new orientation system
• Tracking of the company years of service program
• Providing assistance to HR Manager in areas of employee relations, discipline, legal etc.
• Assist with recruitment and hiring
As the ideal candidate, you have 3-4 years of experience in human resources, and have ideally completed a human resources diploma or certificate program. You enjoy liaising with people, and demonstrate a strong ability to develop positive working relationships with those around you. You are flexible, organized, and pro-active. You have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and you are proficient in MS Office and internal HRIS programs. If this describes you, apply now!
