Creative Marketing and Advertising agency is looking for a confident, creative and dynamic full-time Video Director to join our in-house team.

SUMMARY:

The Video Director is responsible for producing, filming, and editing videos for a wide range of our clients. Organizing a variety of shoots from promotional videos to documentaries to events filming. As well as booking and providing administrative support to crew and cast members.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Producing, shooting and editing promotional films and documentaries.
Creating story content and pitching ideas to both clients and in-house staff.
Narrative and script writing for a variety of clients.
Communicating updates between in-house teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of work.
Working with and organizing large crews and cast members.
Pitching ideas and proposals to clients and the in-house team.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production or a related subject.
Must have 5+ years of film production experience.
Evidence of a minimum of 50 filmed and edited videos in your repertoire.
Specific experience producing promotional and commercial videos for real estate developers is a must.
Extensive knowledge and experience using a wide variety of camera and sound equipment.
Experience shooting in High Definition, and the ability to produce high quality cinematic shots using HD cameras is a must.
Comprehensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro and supporting software such as Cinema Tools, Compressor and Color (experience producing motion graphics and animation is a bonus).
Proven experience working with a wide range of clients.
Proven experience writing a variety of narrative and documentary scripts.
Experience producing documentary videos as well as corporate and commercial videos is a must.
Highly developed communications skills to facilitate interdepartmental needs and schedules.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to meet strict deadlines with video edits.
Must be confident speaking to groups of people (5 to 10) and pitching ideas and story proposals.
Someone who has had work screened in international festivals or other industry competitions.

SALARY:

Salary is $45,000 to $60,000 per annum with benefits, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
