Title: Website Administrator/Developer
What We Need:
Our client is currently seeking a junior to intermediate website technician to help in the support of and development of their corporate website. This is a contract position that will last until June 2012.
Specific Duties:
• Responsible for specialized computer work involving the coordination, design, implementation and administration of the intranet and internet web technology.
• You will act as a project leader regarding the implementation of web development and web projects as directed, prepare work schedules and oversee the work of consultants, prepare recommendations for web enhancements, develop and implement performance measurements and monitor the usage and effectiveness of web applications.
• You will also develop, recommend and, upon approval, implement design recommendations related to the set-up of informational material on the internet and intranet; identify problems or shortcomings regarding the design and set up of information.
Things You Need to Have:
• Completion of a one-year certificate program in computer sciences or related discipline at a technical institute or community college, plus sound related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• You have the ability to maintain web servers, monitor web performance and install and configure computer hardware and software.
• You must have demonstrated experience with various technologies including: SQL Server, Content Management Systems (CMS), ASP.Net, JavaScript, XML, and HTML.
• Experience working with DotNetNuke would also be an asset.
