Systems Designer (BC Region)

The Systems Designer, BC Region can be located in our branch office in either Vancouver or Victoria. This position has accountability and responsibility to work alongside our BC Account Managers, Project Manager and Installations Team. The position is responsible for developing an approach from initial conception through to final commissioning with the team, ensuring that the established standards and approach of the company are communicated clearly.
Responsibilities include the development and joint presentation (if required) of the design solution to the client, the development of detailed Project Documentation to match company guidelines (includes Signal Flow, Room Drawings, Rack Elevations), field commissioning with an Installation Department representative of assigned projects, assisting in the development of corporate Design standards, maintaining detailed written documentation at all stages of the project timeline, and troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical problems.
In order to achieve the responsibilities of the position ideally you will be Infocomm CTS certified, have both video and telephone conference certifications in our primary lines; have a minimum of 3 years experience in a technical design capacity that includes extensive knowledge of audio, video and control systems as well as architectural and cabling requirements, and 2 years plus experience with AutoCAD.
