Provident Security is looking for a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team.

Here are a few things Provident does not do:

*Sell or install free or cheap alarms; *Takeover existing systems that we know will be nothing but trouble for either the client or us; *Cut corners or jerry-rig anything that we install; *Call the Police to request an alarm dispatch that will never happen; *Lick & Stick Devices

Our clients trust us and count on us to provide the most professional service possible. A significant portion of our business is taking over existing systems and upgrading/expanding them to provide an appropriate level of security that fully leverages Provident unique five-minute alarm response guarantee. Our Technicians deal directly with our clients and are relied upon to do much more than just show up and make the alarm work. We work in many of Vancouvers finest & largest homes integrating complete intrusion systems with CCTV, access control and environmental monitoring systems. We typically install Honeywell, HAI, Hirsch, Keyscan & Panasonic products.

We are not your average security company and we do not hire average people.

Who we are looking for:

A TQ Technician who knows what they are doing, but also knows what they don’t know. Our Technicians are asked to work on unique applications almost every day they know when to just get in and get the job done and when spending time up front asking questions is saving time and money in the long-run.

Someone who takes pride in their work and gets personal satisfaction from doing a perfectly organized & thoughtful installation.

Someone who can work independently as well as they can as part of a team. Our Technicians rely on each other as an internal tech support team and help each other out on a regular basis.
