Salon/Spa Networking Opportunity (Downtown - Gastown)

Are you a salon or spa owner? Are you interested in networking with other business professionals over lunch at Steamworks downtown next Thursday?
I am a part of a networking organization called Business Network International (BNI for short). There are thousands of chapters around the world. Our chapter is BNI Power and in the last 12 months our members have done over $380 000 worth of business through referrals among each other!
Basically, we are a group of local small business owners and self-employed professionals who meet once a week to give each other qualified referrals as a way of helping each other grow our businesses. We are actively seeking skilled professionals to whom we can give business. There will be no competition in the chapter as there can be only one member per profession.
I would like to bring a salon or spa owner to our chapter as this is a position that is not currently filled, and one that I think would really complement our team. We are looking for a talented "people-person" whom we can refer whenever we meet someone who needs a salon or spa and who will refer us when the opportunity arises.
Our chapter meets over lunch on Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:00pm in a bright room at Steamworks Pub in Downtown Vancouver. For $24, you get a delicious lunch with a view of the North Shore mountains and a chance to be a part of a structured meeting where you have the opportunity to tell a group of 20 - 40 highly motivated entrepreneurs what kind of clients you're looking for. There's also mixing and mingling before and after the formal meeting. This would be a great opportunity for you to meet our members and other visitors, and publicize your service.
