The Sales Manager will join a company with the reputation for product excellence and outstanding customer care. Their products can be found in the health/wellness and the new age section of local and international retailers in a variety of industries.

The Position
The Sales Manager works closely with the management team and various operational teams to design sales programs that will meet the customer needs, ensuring successful fulfillment of annual sales revenues, and enhancing job satisfaction of the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Overall achievement of the sales objective
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop an effective growth strategy
- Facilitates regular sales team meetings
- Contribute to the annual sales plan by working with the team to build their individual plans
- Collaborates with marketing to develop programs that will increase customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, sales revenue and market-share
- Builds plans and strategies to increase new business; develops prospecting programs, and ensures that the investment with existing customer base is maintained and grown
- Coach and guide team members in maximizing their in-territory selling time including effective territory management, call strategies and prospecting
- Provides input into management decisions
- Conducts performance and feedback sessions to capture learning and build on successes
Experience
- Must have 5 to 10 years consistent and successful business-to-consumer sales experience
- Must have 2 to 5 years in a sales leadership role; with supervisory or management responsibilities
- Strong leadership experience and demonstrated success in coaching and people management skills
- Experienced in developing, executing and measuring processes
- Background in tactical planning
- Detail oriented, organized and strong ability to multi-task
- Clear, consistent and reliable communicator
- Strategic thinker who is innovative and has strong creative problem solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and realize business plans and budgets within a business unit environment
- Comfortable and works with today’s software and technology
