full time PoCoMo Team Leader (Langley)

Established in 1992, our mandate includes the development and delivery of innovative programs and services for youth who may be disadvantaged, marginalized, or at-risk, and the creation of opportunities for youth to reach their full potential. www.pocomo.org
Job Overview: The Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating the Langley Pilot Bus program schedule and staffing. They will also required to liaison with community partners and businesses to assist in developing working collaborations, referrals, and business sponsorships to support the program. The Team Leader will also work closely with PoCoMo's Project Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Langley bus program
• Provide street outreach to youth working minimum one night a week
• Provide liaison between staff and Project Coordinator
• Provide follow up support for youth when needed
• Develop community relationships with youth serving agencies, individuals, and businesses
• Represent PoCoMo by attending specific community meetings involving front line staff
• Responsible for the completion and maintaining of data collection and other program documentation
• Maintain support resources for the buses
• Identify and document updated information on local resources and programs
• Conduct public speaking engagements as required

Qualifications:
• Minimum BA or equivalent experience in a related field
• Leadership qualities and experience with staff supervision
• Experience working with at risk youth
• Ability to engage and motivate staff
• Ability to engage and motivate hard-to-reach youth
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Strong computer skills; advanced use of Microsoft Office and excel
• Knowledge of youth issues
• Highly self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work alone, as well as part of a team
• Passion for supporting at-risk youth
• A valid BC driver's license. Regular access to a vehicle.

Position details
• Part-time -- 20-25 hours/week?
• Days & weekend evenings
• 3 month month probationary period
• Langley Area
• Annual performance review?
• Starting wage: $15.50 hr plus 4% in lieu of benefits
