Machinist (Annacis Island)

Harmer Steel is a leading distributor of railroad rail and track materials in Canada and the US. We are looking for a qualified machinist for our New Westminster shop on Annacis Island.
Duties include (but are not limited to) drilling, cutting, and milling steel for fabrication of rail switch points and turnouts. Shift is Monday -- Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The ideal candidate will have two years experience as a machinist, with preference given to candidates with experience operating: radial arm drill press, commercial band saw, bull nose press, and non-CNC milling machine. Welding experience would be an asset.
