Human Resources Administrative Assistant - One year contract (Downtown Vancouver)

International mining oil & gas organization with business offices throughout the globe requires a Human Resources Administrative Assistant for its Vancouver office. One year contract in an excellent working environment, providing day to day admin assistance & support to the VP & HR team including responsibility for the Human Resources Information System (HR Advantage).
Responsibilities:
Preparation & organization of HR meetings
Confidential filing & maintenance of employee personnel files
Preparing various admin spreadsheets and reports
Excellent communication skills - may provide back-up reception relief
Maintaining office supplies, keeping supply room tidy, general office duties (filing, photocopying, etc.)
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience as an Administrative/Office Assistant in a Human Resources environment
Intermediate MS Office skills - SharePoint an asset
Good research skills
Possess above average admin and customer service skills
Mature and professional
Must be able to multi-task with proficiency
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be pro-active
Well organized team player
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Benefits package effective first day of employment
3 weeks vacation
