Position Overview
Our company is a supplier of analysis and monitoring solutions for clients engaged in the restoration, design, construction and management of buildings. We designs software and electronic systems used to monitor and evaluate specific parameters required by contractors, architects, engineers, builders and property managers. We are seeking an individual with a broad skill set in IT and commercial construction to deploy sensors, configure wireless and networked devices and program front-end internet based software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and document sensor and device installations
• Supervise and coordinate system installation
• Test and commission installation
• Configure and program systems in field as required
• Service and troubleshoot field issues
• Test and perform high level troubleshooting for Engineering
• Configuration of hardware and software systems for final assembly
• Create custom configurations and sensors for various projects
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
• Electronic Technology student or graduate
• Computer Data Acquisition and Building Control Systems
Performance Competencies:
• Strong mechanical and analytical skills
• Effective written, oral, team and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Assets:
- AutoCAD
- Networking, IT
- Experience in a construction environment
- Multi-Tasking
- Ability to rapidly learn proprietary system
