Maintenance Contract: Job Description - Landscaping
"Jewel of the Kerrisdale Area"
Location: 2275 - 40th Ave, Vancouver, BC, V6M 1W7 - Strata Corporation VR86
Job duties, responsibilities and specifications:
1. Frequency: by-weekly
2. Duration: subject to the terms of the contract
3. Maintenance of existing: open space, natural ingredients, trees, plants, grass, structures
4. To plan and propose design concept - subject to the final approval by the Strata Council
5. To Specify building material
6. To Specify plant material
7. To perform spot checks - subject to seasonal changes
8. To trim hedges - early autumn
9. To maintain:
-regular lawn mowing, trimming, edging, leaf blowing
-garden bed maintenance, weeding, trimming, raking, top dressing, fertilizing and grading
-light planting of annuals, bulbs, etc.
10. On yearly basis, to pressure wash all side-walks, external stairs, and driveway - during the month of April.
11. To provide proper upkeep of sidewalks and driveway on by-weekly basis
12. To water lawn, trees and plants
13. To provide all landscaping equipment and supplies
14. To provide terms and aspects of maintenance in reference to seasonal changes
15. To provide Spring and Winter clean-up
16. To dispose all debris ( Please note: Strata's garbage container and Strata's recycling containers are for the residence use only)
17. To cooperate with Strata President
A. Subject to contract specifications: Liability and Insurance
B. Classification: Independent Contractor
C. Area: External Common Property / as per Legal Strata Plan ( including North Lane
landscaping and garbage containers area)
D. Compensation: TBA
