PROGRAM WORKER (VANCOUVER)

Vancouver Resource Society (VRS) is currently recruiting for Casual and Part-Time Program Workers. VRS is an organization that provides care and housing for mental and physical disabilities. Within our organization, we also have an Adult Day Program that provides lifeskills training for individuals with physical and mental disabilities to integrate into the community. Schedule requires days and evenings availability as our program is open from 9:00am to 9:00pm.
Preferred candidates would want to work with adults with high medical needs and lower cognitive abilities. Experience in personal care is an asset.
Candidates must be a good role model, be able to effectively run programs, and participate in diverse activies for inside and outside programming demands.
A Theraputic Recreation Program (2 years) or Social Science Degree is required with a Class 5 Drivers License. Class 4 expection will be required.
Candidates must be prepared to provide a Criminal Record Check, TB Test, and a Fitness Certificate from a Doctor.
