IA/UX Mastermind

We’re on the hunt for an IA/UX mastermind to add to our growing Creative Department. If you constantly redesign user experiences in your mind and think CDO is actually OCD in the correct order, you may just be the person we’re looking for. We have some exciting new games in the works that require a seasoned pro to help architect and document beautiful games and applications that set new standards in fun, interactivity and play.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in wireframing, architecting and writing documentation for variety of digital mediums, especially games, the web, mobile and social platforms.They’re able pick up high-level concepts quickly from game design documents and whiteboard sessions and translate those ideas into thoughtful, usable wireframes and documentation. Using Omnigraffle or Visio brings a smile to their face. The only thing that makes them happier than creating wireframes and flow charts is user testing their well designed game or application. This person will be exceptionally well versed in current usability trends across games, mobile and social experiences and will constantly look for ways to innovate but not over complicate. This architect knows that well laid plans are the secret to meaningful design and are able to work closely with others and iterate quickly on their ideas to create exceptional experiences.

Required:

• Phenomenal portfolio, including proven experience in IA/UX for games, particularly web-based and mobile
• Capable of defining and leading the architecture, wireframing and usability testing processes
• Exceptional understanding of usability and heuristic evaluation
• Hardworking and fun, easy to get along with
• Passionate about creating fun, compelling experiences
• Able to articulate a structured, professional process from concept through wireframes to final documentation and testing

• A broad, flexible skillset, across a range of tasks

Bonus points for other useful experience, such as:

• Game, web or mobile graphic interface design
• Photoshop/Illustrator
• Flash and AS3

• Unity 3D
