HVAC Graphics Technician (Surrey)

Surrey Building Automation contractor seeks a computer savvy individual with an interest in User Experience design to work in our Interface and Graphics department. Position would appeal to candidates that have computer programming and electronics background. Position combines skilled trade and technical elements with user interfaces, with an emphasis on controller programming so an interest in hands-on application and complex problem solving is important.
Requirements:
- Experience with web programming technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Solid computer programming background
- Interface and graphics design is an asset
- Willingness to adapt programming knowledge to new systems and methods
- Must be meticulous and willing to learn
Preferences:
- Electronics, Engineering or Technologist background with focus on mechanical building systems
- Electronics background
- Understanding of IP networks
- Familiarity with Java programming environment
- Some knowledge of PHP
- AutoCAD experience
