This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large enterprise with 1000's of users and dozens of custom applications as a Security Administrator. Our client boasts an incredibly strong reputation both here in Canada and globally, and provides the support and internal opportunities to take your career to the next level. We are looking for a naturally inquisitive, critical and analytical Security Administrator to play an integral role in the administration of practises, policies and procedures that effectively manage system and enterprise application access for thousands of users across Canada. Typical duties will also include managing group policies, troubleshooting access permissions, processing and validating requests, and provisioning the day to day access to multiple customised enterprise applications.
The successful candidate will have:
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Information Technology coupled with 2 - 5 years experience in an IT organization.
- Having a security designation or 1-2 years experience in enterprise IT security administration will be considered assets.
- Experience with Active Directory and knowledge of Cisco Security is considered an advantage.
- Excellent written documentation and spoken communication skills
- A self starter attitude with the ability to work independently without being micro managed.
