Our Chilliwack location is currently recruiting for a Commercial Transport Mechanic. The CT Mechanic will responsible for the diagnosis, repair, maintenance, requisitioning parts, and record keeping associated with the Companies fleet of trucks, trailers and associated equipment.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Experience in Diagnostics of hydraulics, brake, electrical, steering, fuel, emission, ignition, transmission, cooling and drive train systems in both gas and diesel powered commercial transports.
• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
• Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
• Valid Driver licence (Class1 or 3 with air)
• Motor Vehicle Inspectors ticket and/or F/A ticket would be an asset
• Welding experience would be an asset
• Self motivated and able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
This position is full time working 4 days on and 4 days off
