TITLE: Security Guard -- OFA 2
CITY: Vancouver, BC
HOURS OF WORK: Various Shifts
OVERVIEW
Our continued growth requires some additional expertise to complement our Security Guarding team. As a successful applicant you are a physically fit, highly reliable and have excellent verbal and written English communications skills. You have previously worked in a security related position and are able to complete a criminal/security clearance and hold a valid BC Security License. You have Occupational First Aid level 2, or are willing to complete this required qualification at your own expense (approx $500.00). You are flexible and are willing to work various shifts including; mornings, afternoons and nights.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Occupational First Aid Level 2
• Basic Security Training (BST) with Valid BC Security License
• Minimum 2 years work experience in the security related position
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Provide access control and security of the building
• Conduct regular patrols of the building
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to obtain criminal security clearance
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and stand for up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Good computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook
• Work independently in a fast paced environment
• Understands the mission and his/her contribution to the success of the organization
• Other duties as assigned
