Job Description:
The person selected to fill this position will participate in the software development cycle as a verification specialist.

Responsabilities:
•Recommend and utilize strategies for test case development, bug tracking/reporting and automated testing.
•Create and execute test plans, test cases and test data from requirements and design documents.
•Implement and execute automated testing as practical.
•Provide estimates and resource requirements for testing effort.
•Perform and report results for functional, black box, white box, web, regression and load testing to uncover defects.
•Perform verification on resolved defects.
•Mentor and assist more junior people in testing roles.
Requirements:
•Post Secondary Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
•Minimum 5 years experience in software testing/verification.
•Experience implementing and executing automated testing.
•Experience testing web applications and web services.
•Good working knowledge of SQL.
•Familiar with agile development methods.
•Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
•Experience with Unix environments an asset.
•Experience with billing systems, subscriber management and payment processing an asset.
