In-home cat sitters (West Side Vancouver & East Vancouver/Burnaby)

Urban Tails is accepting applications for qualified in-home cat sitter in Vancouver on the West Side and also the East Side/Burnaby. Our cat sitters are unabashed cat lovers who enjoy chatting with our clients as much as cuddling the kitties. Professional experience providing in-home cat sitting visits and a demonstrated ability to administer a variety of medications to cats other than your own is required. Preference is given to applicants who are available to do a minimum of 3 visits per day and are available during both the breakfast (before 9:00am) and dinner (after 5:00pm) timeslots.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience caring for cats other than your own either through work, school or volunteer activity
- Demonstrated experience administering medications to cats other than your own
- Have completed or be willing to complete the next course in Pet First Aid
- A recent criminal background check or willingness to complete one
- Access to a digital camera, a cell phone and email for communicating with clients
- Must be available on long weekends and at Christmas
- Selected applicants will be required to provide references
