Looking for amazing Host families for the Muskoka Language International Inc ( MLI) short term Homestay program.
Our mission at MLI is to provide international visitors with an opportunity to enrich their lives through a unique Canadian cultural and learning experience.
Our group consists of male and female Japanese students ages 15 – 16 coming October 15-26, 2011.
We are looking for only double placements ( 2 students per home). Students can share a room
The students will be attending Panorama Ridge Secondary & Sullivan Heights Secondary
Requirements of Host Family:
X Daily transportation to/from school location
X 3 meals daily — bagged lunch on the departure day may be required
X Attend welcome reception on the arrival day
X Attend farewell reception, if any scheduled
The host family structure :
• Couple with child(ren)
• Empty nesters with accessible to their children/grandchildren
• Couple without children
• Single mother with child(ren)
• Single female host — female students only
- NO single male hosts at this time
All host families members over 18 living in the home must have a criminal check done
Host Families receive $60 per day for 2 students for 11 days
