DESCRIPTION
As the Web Developer you will join the marketing team of a growing corporation. Your primary responsibilities include production and maintenance of various websites, other online sales and marketing tools and our corporate Intranet. The ideal candidate is an experienced PHP developer with a genuine interest in marketing or business development. You will work closely with designers, other developers, business analyst and various management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain corporate websites to ensure they are fully functioning, up-to-date, accurate and polished to company standards
• Integrating multiple applications with provided API
• Develop secure scripts and user interactive applications
• Create HTML based emails and PHP forms for marketing purposes
• Maintain corporate blog in terms of functionality and updating content when required
• Administrate web server, FTP accounts and multiple domains
• Create documentation to describe significant files/scripts to secure knowledge transfer to other team members
• Make recommendation to management on improving processes, file structures etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years experience in website development. Candidates must provide a portfolio of work and sample URLs.
• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
• Familiarity with LAMP developer environment
• Proficiency in converting graphical designs to functioning web applications
• Understanding of cross browser compatibility (Firefox, IE 6 - 9, Safari)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of web standards and IA/UI best practices
• Ability to meet tight deadlines is essential to keep up in our fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in Windows environments
BONUS
• Experience with JQuery and WordPress
• Knowledge of SEO and other internet marketing strategies
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Flash or Flex
• Design ability
