Do you have expert hands on Microsoft Windows 03/08 Server administration for high availability and mission-critical environments? Do you also have solid hands on working experience with Cisco Networking technologies?
We are on the lookout for a talented and knowledgeable Systems and Network Administrator to be primarily responsible for the daily administration and high level support of a complex and challenging Windows Server environment and associated Cisco Network environments. Located in Burnaby close to a Sky Train station, our client develops software web products for the healthcare industry that require 100% 24/7 availability with tens of thousands of users across the internet. This role will see you monitoring, administrating, configuration, troubleshooting and fine-tuning Windows Server 2008 operation systems and hardware for both internal development servers AND web facing high availability production servers.
Additionally, you will also be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
- 3+ years Windows Systems administration experience for high availability and mission critical environments
- Experience with both development AND production server and hardware environments
- Hands on experience with SAN and Clustering technologies
- Experience in Active Directory migration, setup and implementation
- Expert experience configuring, troubleshooting and setting up of Cisco Network hardware and security firewalls
- You will bring a self motivated and self-started energetic approach
- Excellent customer service and problem solving/resolution skills and clear communication
- Full valid BC Driver's licence and easy access to a vehicle.
