Programmer

Responsibilities
• Recognize and take proactive measures to correct process inefficiencies
• Develop tools and applications to automate and streamline production processes
• Responsible for developing, establishing and enforcing quality assurance standards
• Develop clear and concise technical documentation for project teams
• Provide accurate development estimates for custom development requests
• Provide technical support and training as needed for internal and external clients
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in QA, DBA or Systems Analyst role
• 5+ years of programming and/or database experience
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Expertise in writing custom programs for web applications
• Highly proficient in C#, SQL Server
• Experience in .Net
• Experience with Excel (macros VB scripts)
• Database administration experience (SQL Server)
• Experience in Flash/AIR development, .NET, web services and/or remoting an asset
• Thorough understanding of overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards
• Ability to work under pressure, within extremely tight deadlines and maintain a good sense of humor, tact, professionalism and exceptionally high service standards
• Attention to detail that is second to none
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
